1. Heat resistance. Polyethylene pipe is deformed at 150 ℃, and PTFE can withstand 280 ℃, and the instantaneous temperature can reach 320 ℃.

2. Corrosion resistance. Polyethylene pipe is not resistant to acid with oxidizing properties; PTFE pipe is also strong compared to corrosion resistance, it is resistant to acid, alkali, oxidant and reducing agent.

3. Flame retardancy. Teflon tubes can also be lit and ignite spontaneously. Teflon tubes are not easy to burn, are difficult to burn and extinguish as soon as they leave the fire, because they are flammable when the oxygen content is greater than 95%.

4. You get what you pay for. Teflon pipes are much more expensive than polyethylene pipes.

PTFE is mainly anti-corrosion, high temperature resistant materials used. Because, for example, heart bypass surgery will be used, and some demanding food industries will also be used for packaging.
